Meet Our Founder
Funmy Aloutade
Qualified Early Years Specialist Teacher with 18 years of experience and a devoted mother of girls, Funmy Aloutade has always had a passion for giving back to the community.
During the lockdown, Funmy started helping her neighbours and those in urgent need of support. Post-lockdown, she brought the community together to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which was a huge success. This led to a grant from Newham for the King's Coronation celebration.
Building on these experiences, Funmy developed the idea of empowering people by building on their existing skills through weekly meetings and support. Her ethos is to encourage residents to move from survival to thriving, fostering a community where everyone can achieve sustainable life development.
